The Opportunity We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed services group currently undergoing a period of significant operational evolution. As they continue to scale, they require a commercially minded Group FP&A Business Partner to act as the financial bridge between group strategy and divisional execution.

This is a "greenfield" opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in complexity. You will be tasked with bringing sophisticated P&L oversight to multiple diverse business lines, turning fragmented data into a cohesive commercial narrative.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive Partnering: Serve as the lead finance partner to multiple Divisional Heads, providing the commercial "pulse" on their performance and advising on P&L management.
• Profitability Frameworks: Design and deploy new FP&A frameworks to identify margin leakage and growth opportunities across various business units.
• Navigating System Complexity: Work across a "hotchpotch" of legacy operating systems and ERPs to extract meaningful insights, overcoming data quality hurdles through creative problem-solving.
• Performance Analysis: Move beyond standard reporting to provide deep-dive analysis on profitability drivers, identifying issues and trends across disparate business lines.
• Strategic Planning: Drive the budgeting and rolling forecast cycles, ensuring divisional targets are both ambitious and aligned with the private equity investment thesis.

Your Profile

• Strategic Builder: You have a track record of creating structure out of chaos. You enjoy the challenge of building frameworks where none currently exist.
• Data Resilient: You aren't deterred by imperfect data or multiple disparate systems; you have the technical toolkit to synthesize information into a single, accurate story.
• High Engagement: You possess the communication skills to influence senior operational stakeholders, moving them toward data-driven decision-making.
• Analytical Rigour: Advanced Excel skills are essential, with a natural ability to drill down into P&L line items to find the "so what."

Requirements

• CA / CPA or CFA qualified.
• Strong background in FP&A or Commercial Finance, ideally within a multi-site or services-heavy environment.
• Prior experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth setting is highly desirable.
• A proven ability to navigate and consolidate data from multiple, unintegrated operating systems.
