Horticulturist

POSITION: HORTICULTURIST

Type: Perm, Temp
Evolve is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Horticulturist to join our team. As a Horticulturist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, either as part of a team or independently under direction. Your responsibilities will include mentoring, developing and maintaining work programs, preparing maintenance schedules, landscaping, garden refurbishment, pruning, litter removal, fertilizing, mulching, and general garden maintenance.
To excel in this role, you must be able to adhere to daily maintenance schedules and safely operate a variety of horticultural equipment.

About the Role:

• Trade Certificate in Horticulture or relevant experience in a Parks maintenance environment.
• Valid 'MR' class driver's license.
• OHS General Induction for Construction (White Card).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations.
• Practical experience in the landscape/amenity horticulture industry.

Skills and Experience :

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations
• Experience in the safe operation and maintenance of horticultural equipment
• Relevant practical experience in the landscape/amenity horticulture industry
