The Company

Robert Half Technology is partnering exclusively with a leading Australian financial services organisation currently undertaking a significant transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing technology team focused on modernising enterprise integration and automation capabilities across the business.

The Role

As the RPA & Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing and optimising enterprise-grade integration and automation solutions. Working with MuleSoft, you will help deliver scalable, secure and reusable APIs and automation services aligned to enterprise architecture standards and engineering best practices.

Please note, UiPath and Power Automate RPA development is not an essential requirement but highly desirable. If you are a strong MuleSoft Integration Engineer who wants to learn automation and RPA development please apply.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and development of MuleSoft APIs and enterprise integration solutions.
• Build, optimise and support RPA solutions using UiPath and Power Automate.
• Deliver secure, scalable and high-performing integration and automation solutions aligned to architecture and governance standards.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews and engineering oversight across integration and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to define solution designs, integration patterns and technical requirements.
• Manage deployment, release and operational support activities across API and automation platforms.
• Drive reuse of APIs, integration services and automation components to reduce technical debt and improve platform efficiency.

Your Profile

• Strong experience with MuleSoft or enterprise API and integration engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience delivering RPA solutions using UiPath, Power Automate or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Experience workin within architecture frameworks, governance models and secure coding standards.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment practices.
• Understanding of modern integration patterns, APIs and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Nice to have:

• Experience within banking or financial services environments.
• Experience with the MuleSoft API Platform.
