The Opportunity
Location: Melbourne / Hybrid (Australia-based)
Contract: 6 months fixed term, with potential for extension

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer Consultant to support the ongoing development and evolution of enterprise-grade iOS applications used at scale. This role operates within a structured delivery environment and works collaboratively with teams across technology, product, and business functions.

You will contribute to the design and delivery of reliable, secure, and maintainable mobile solutions, while aligning with established architecture, governance, and release frameworks. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys working in complex environments and values clarity, quality, and shared outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI


• Work within established architecture, security, and governance standards


• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend engineers, QA, and release teams


• Contribute to technical standards, patterns, and best practices across mobile delivery


• Support application performance, stability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability


• Participate in code reviews, technical forums, and delivery ceremonies


• Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement across the iOS platform

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as an iOS Developer in large or complex environments


• Strong expertise in Swift, Xcode, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines


• Experience integrating with enterprise backends, including REST APIs, authentication, and secure data handling


• Familiarity with version control, branching strategies, and structured release processes


• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional, multi-team delivery models


• Production experience using SwiftUI in enterprise applications


• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for iOS, including automated builds, testing, and distribution


• Experience working with accessibility standards and compliance requirements
