Network Engineer - Citizen with NV1

DWS is seeking a skilled DWS is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with Australian Citizenship and current NV1 or higher clearance to join us and support and enhance enterprise network environments across office, data center, and cloud platform environments. This role will see you working within a high-performing team, contributing to operational stability, security, and ongoing network improvements in a complex enterprise scale environment.

Essential skills and experience:

• CCNA certification essential, CCNP preferred
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and core networking fundamentals
• Significant experience with routing and switching technologies, including OSPF and BGP
• Solid capability configuring and supporting enterprise switching and VLAN environments
• Strong experience with network security concepts including 802.1X, NAC, and segmentation
• Proven experience supporting next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet or similar)
• Practical knowledge of Cisco environments including Catalyst, WLC, and ISE
• Experience working across multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet etc.)
• Understanding of wireless networking and enterprise Wi-Fi environments
• Exposure to cloud networking concepts across AWS / Azure
• Strong troubleshooting capability across network layers with a structured approach
• Experience using monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar
• Ability to work across BAU operations, projects, and incident response activities
