Job Description - Officer Probity


Probity Officer


 


At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training.


 


 



  • Multiple Temporary Full-Time positions, 6-months with the possibility of extension

  • Located in Parramatta offering flexible working arrangements with mandatory office presence for business requirements as required

  • Clerk Grade 3/4 - $84,659 to $92,701 plus superannuation and leave loading


 


 


About the role


 


As a Probity Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Department’s commitment to child safety and integrity by ensuring the workforce remains compliant with employment screening requirements. This includes delivering high-volume pre-employment checks and ongoing screening services for staff, contractors, and volunteers. You will also:


 



  • Accurately and efficiently manage high-volume of HR compliance services

  • Respond to enquiries in a contact-centre like environment and escalate complex issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with Department policies

  • Holds a Working With Children Check for paid employment

  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
