Palantir Specialist

DWS are seeking a highly capable Palantir Specialist who can confidently lead development work in an environment with minimal existing Palantir expertise. This role suits individuals with deep Palantir Foundry knowledge who come from either a data engineering background or an Palantir application/dashboard development background. You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering key outcomes, bringing strong technical leadership and hands-on capability.

To succeed in this role, you will bring very strong expertise in Palantir and significant experience in one (or both) of the following capability areas:

Essential Core Skills & Experience:

• Expert capability with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology and data modelling concepts.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and operate independently in a low-support environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL / Python.
• Experience working with data pipelines, transformations, and integrating data for operational or analytical use.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical designs and user-friendly solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Plus, experience in one of the following:

• Data engineering experience including ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and modern data architecture.
• Experience migrating ontology-driven models and structures from Palantir to Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Snowflake experience - schema design, optimisation, and pipeline development.
• Ability to map ontology models into relational structures.
• Experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms (desirable).

OR

• Experience designing and building Palantir-based dashboards, reports, and lightweight operational applications.
• Hands-on capability with Foundry Workshop, Ontology, Slate/Contour.
• Ability to design intuitive user interfaces, workflows, and visualisations.
• Strong understanding of ontology-driven app development and data preparation for visualisation.
• Ability to engage with business stakeholders and turn requirements into practical, high-quality dashboards.
