Job Description - Performing Arts Admin Technician

About the role:  Performing Arts Admin Technician





  • Employment Type: Contract - 0.1 FTE (One half day per week)

South Coast Baptist College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Performing Arts Technician to support the Arts Department, particularly in the area of Drama, through a range of administrative, logistical, and practical tasks.




Position Requirements: 



  • Administration.

  • Drama Support.

  • Assistance during Production Season.




Selection Criteria:  



  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Prove experience in administrative roles.

  • Commitment to uphold the values and ethos of South Coast Baptist College




Essential Criteria: 



  • A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Active participation in a church or Christian community, exemplifying Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.

  • Acceptance of the College’s Statement of Faith.

  • Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with the Board, Principal, staff, students, and parents.

  • Commitment to personal best practice.

  • Ensure decisions are impartial, fact-based, and fair.

  • Model appropriate and proper channels of communication.

  • Consistently act in the best interests of the College and its ethos.

  • Adherence to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.

  • Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the College’s values and policies.

  • Possession of the following certifications:

  • National Police Clearance

  • Working with Children Check

  • First Aid Certificate
