Senior Business Analyst

We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Business Analyst into a key customer-focused value stream, supporting the delivery of large-scale, business-led transformation.

This role sits within a modern, product-aligned delivery model - working across squads to drive real customer and commercial outcomes, not just project deliverables.

You'll operate as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping initiatives from early ideation through to delivery. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll lead analysis across multiple squads and help steer priorities across the broader value stream.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead analysis across complex initiatives spanning multiple squads, systems and stakeholders
• Partner with Product Owners, delivery leads and business leaders to shape and prioritise initiatives aligned to value stream objectives
• Analyse end-to-end customer journeys, processes and platforms to identify opportunities for improvement
• Drive discovery, scoping and requirements definition in an agile, product-led environment
• Decompose initiatives into features, user stories and actionable delivery artefacts
• Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions across business and technology
• Support backlog refinement and prioritisation, balancing value, risk and dependencies
• Contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, including testing, defect triage and change readiness
• Mentor and guide other BAs within the squad and broader delivery team

What You'll Bring:

• Strong experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst in complex, enterprise environments
• Background working within product-led or value stream-aligned delivery models
• Expertise across process, data and systems analysis
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercially sound decisions
• Proven experience working in Agile, multi-squad environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity

Experience Required:

• 5+ years' experience as a Senior BA within financial services (insurance highly regarded)
• Experience delivering customer-facing digital or transformation initiatives
• Exposure to legacy/mainframe environments and integration with modern platforms (desirable)
