We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our mobile team and lead the development of location-aware features using Google Maps SDK. You’ll play a key role in building scalable, high-performance iOS applications that deliver seamless user experiences.

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI. Your work will directly impact the user experience, ensuring our mobile solutions are intuitive, high-performing, and scalable. You’ll take ownership of key features and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

A core focus of this role involves integrating and optimizing the Google Maps SDK. You’ll build custom map views, implement geolocation features, and enable real-time tracking and routing capabilities. Your expertise in location-based services will be essential in delivering seamless and responsive map-driven experiences to our users.

Beyond development, you will be mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices in mobile architecture and clean code. Staying current with the latest trends in iOS development and updates to the Google Maps API will be crucial to maintaining our competitive edge and technical excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in a Similar role ideally in an enterprise level project environment.
• Singificant years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Proven experience integrating Google Maps SDK into production apps.
• Familiarity with location services, geofencing, and map-based UI/UX.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER).
• Solid understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Core Location, MapKit, and third-party mapping libraries.
• Knowledge of backend services and Firebase.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Published apps in the App Store featuring map-based functionality.
