Senior Project Officer
Location - Parramatta
Employment type – Temporary full-time role until 30 June 2027
Salary - $129,464.00 0 pa - $142,665.00 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
You will provide relationship and contract management of a selection of statewide human services contracts that are high value and strategically important – including Closing the Gap contracts with Aboriginal organisations. The role leads relationship management with stakeholders to support delivery of contracted objectives and provides a consistent approach to contract management of all contracts within DCJ including involvement in contract design, relationship management (internal and external), governance and secretariat, and performance monitoring.

The Partnerships directorate leads commissioning and contracting practice across DCJ by developing and implementing frameworks to support colleagues to successfully manage contracts and agreements with the non-government sector to deliver better services to DCJ clients.
Partnerships is a diverse, multi-disciplinary team working in areas that include ensuring that DCJ initiatives work with Aboriginal people and communities to deliver better services and outcomes, non-government sector governance and accountability, innovative procurement and contracting, grants administration and payment and performance monitoring.
The Statewide Contracts Branch sits within the Partnerships Directorate and manages a range of contracts including programs that support DCJ Districts in the Closing the Gap, State Peaks and social impact investments such as the Foyer and Newpin programs.
