Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies and AI-assisted development practices.

About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing applications using NoSQL, React, and .NET/NodeJS, while also delivering robust Azure Cloud infrastructure using Pulumi, Terraform, and Infrastructure-as-Code principles. You'll have the opportunity to provide technical leadership in architecture discussions, collaborate closely with Product, QA, and BA teams, and apply AI tools to accelerate development.

6-month contract role with flexible hybrid working arrangements (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). You'll have the chance to work on cutting-edge applications and cloud solutions, make a tangible impact on project delivery, and collaborate with a highly skilled, supportive team.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications across a modern technology stack
• Deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable Azure Cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions
• Work collaboratively with in-house teams to meet project timelines
• Apply AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity
• Produce clear, high-quality documentation for all delivered components

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in full-stack development: NoSQL, React, .NET/NodeJS
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services
• Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Pulumi/Terraform)
• Understanding of secure development practices
• Proficient in CI/CD, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps workflows
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver within agreed timeframes

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with AI-powered developer tools
• Knowledge of data pipelines or analytics systems
• Familiarity with event-driven or domain-driven architectures
