Requirements
You are a practitioner/team member of the Quality Engineering and Testing Capability Community of Practice (CoP).
Responsible for test design, using own in-depth technical analysis of functional and non-functional specifications, requirements and solution architecture.
Design, code, verify, amend and refactor test automation code and scripts
Ensure traceability records exist from tests back to requirements.
Assist the Program Test Manager/Test Lead in test planning and specifying requirements for test environments, test data and tools.
Contribute to the selection of the test automation approach for projects.
Build and maintain the test automation framework
Apply agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered outcomes.
Participate in code reviews of own work and lead reviews of colleagues’ work.
Responsible for interpreting and executing complex test scripts, analysing results and maintaining a defect register.
Provide reports on progress, anomalies and risks & issues associated with the overall project or release. You’ll also report on system quality and collect metrics on tests and results.
Support and implement the Software Testing Policy and Guidelines within the context of the assigned work and tools used and create and maintain documentation relevant to this.
Being an active member of, the QE&T Community of Practice (CoP).
Must have
Proficiency in building test strategies, planning, test approaches, and methods, with the capability to develop robust automated testing frameworks
Test design, using own in-depth technical analysis of functional and non-functional specifications,requirements and solution architecture
Design, develop and maintain complex automation frameworks to verify functionality and performance of AWS services such as AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, Iceberg Tables, AWS Data Migration Service (DMS), Amazon S3, Redshift, and Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA)
Worked in an environment with a structured test process, performing automated system and non-functional testing.
Proficiency in Python scripting using pytest, pandas, boto3 etc. libraries
Created and maintained automated test code and scripts, run automated tests and interpreted & reviewed results from automated test runs.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Provide reports on progress, anomalies and risks & issues associated with the overall project or release. You’ll also report on system quality and collect metrics on tests and results.
Experience in using technologies such as Visual Code, Jira, Confluence, IntelliJ, GitLab, GitHub, NEXUS, Maven, Grafana, Putty, JMeter/Gatling for test automation purpose.
Proficient with querying and analysing data including advanced SQL query authoring as well as data quality and data reconciliation processes.
Nice to have
Experience with Cucumber or other automation tools experience
Experience with testing micro-services and/or container- based architectures.
Security testing exposure
Duration: Permanent / 06 Months and possible extension
