About this role:


 


Working within Queensland Rail’s Major Project team, this Brisbane‑based role is offered on a full‑time fixed‑term basis until December 2029 and will provide engineering and business support to deliver quality, commercially focused Telecoms and Operations Systems solutions for the Logan Gold Coast project.

 


 


Purpose That Counts – Some of the responsibilities of the role:


 



  • Lead, develop and implement an effective capability strategy for Signalling Systems Engineering.

  • Lead and embed consistent, outcome focused delivery processes across design management, discipline integration, design reviews, verification and Safety in Design.

  • Manage the allocation of signalling engineering resources to meet project requirements.

  • Fulfil Superintendent responsibilities for Network Projects contracts, ensuring appropriate supervision and quality delivery of engineering products and services.

  • Demonstrated highlevel capability in leading a clientfocused engineering strategy, providing technical advice, design and verification services, and delivery management.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Highly skilled in rail systems infrastructure with the ability to adapt to changes in industry environments.

  • High level of skill in applying and ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations and safety, environmental, contract and employment requirements within a commercially focused business.

  • Sound knowledge of signalling engineering and technologies relevant to a large transport and logistics organisation.

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
