Job Description

  • Part-Time Maternity Leave Cover – 4 Days per Week (Tuesday–Friday), Maximum-Term, Starting April 2026
  • Based at our Ringwood East site on the lands of the Wurundjeri People, with travel across the Outer Eastern Melbourne region and flexible working conditions.

If so, join Each as our Team Leader Paediatric Psychology, and help shape the future of care for children and families in our community.

You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic and clinical leadership to the Paediatric Psychology team and the School Readiness Funding (SRF) Allied Health program. You’ll ensure high‑quality, compliant service delivery across sites, support broader CHPACS operations, and foster robust internal and external stakeholder relationships. Your leadership will empower staff, enhance service impact, and help create high‑quality early years learning environments.

What you’ll be doing

You will provide strategic and clinical leadership, operational oversight, and capacity‑building support that strengthens both the Paediatric Psychology team and educators across the early years sector.

  • Service Oversight: Lead the delivery and continuous improvement for School Readiness Funding (SRF) Allied Health team in line with organisational and funding requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Support: Provide leadership, clinical supervision, and mentorship to staff. Promote a positive team culture that aligns to Each’s strategic plan, and ensure service delivery remains consistent with current best practice models.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support referrals and integrated service delivery.
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide effective supervision across sites, ensuring reflective practice and ethical decision-making.
  • Risk & Waitlist Management: Guide staff in managing risk and ensure best practice in waitlist monitoring. Escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Direct Capacity Building Work: Manage a caseload of kindergartens, and deliver capacity building to the 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten programs using evidence-based, culturally inclusive approaches.

Who we’re looking for

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • A collaborative, values‑driven leadership style with experience in clinical supervision and team development
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence in managing risk, performance and service quality
  • A commitment to delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care within a multidisciplinary environment

You will also have:

  • Degree qualification in Psychology and current unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in a range of areas of Psychology, including child development, school readiness, and psychosocial and cognitive development
  • Board Approved Supervision Training and an endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology (highly regarded)
