Tech Specialist - M365 Admin & IDAM

DWS is seeking an experienced Identity & M365 Admin Technical Specialist to provide expert support, administration, and technical leadership across a large enterprise Microsoft 365 and identity platform environment.
You will work across Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, M365 governance, automation, PowerShell scripting, and user lifecycle management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys optimising identity, collaboration and cloud productivity platforms.

Salary : up to $180K package (inc. super)

Essential Skills & Experience

• Expert-level capability in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure, and Entra ID.
• Significant professional experience managing Hybrid Active Directory environments and identity lifecycle components.
• Substantial experience with Exchange Hybrid deployments.
• Highly proficient PowerShell scripting, automation and platform management.
• Strong understanding of M365 governance, security, compliance controls and best practice configuration.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools, specifically Microsoft Copilot.
• Desirable: exposure to Power Platform, or GCP identity environments, automation tooling (Logic Apps, Function Apps), or platform-as-a-service environments.

• Microsoft Administrator Expert certification
• Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Exchange certification

What You'll Be Doing

• Work in a team managing the administration and optimisation of Microsoft 365 and identity platforms across the business.
• Supporting identity access, lifecycle automation, hybrid AD operations, and governance activities.
• Troubleshooting and resolving M365 and identity issues, including complex hybrid challenges.
• Driving automation, security uplift, and continuous improvement practices.
• Maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
• Working collaboratively with cloud, infrastructure, application and security teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.
