Temp Consultant, Property Claims

Support customers experiencing property damage during major life events. As a Temp Property Claims Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for lodging and assessing new property claims, ensuring our customers feel heard, supported and guided from the very beginning of their claims journey.

Work Hours & Availability
Commencing 02 March 2026, this position is located in our Southbank Brisbane office, where you’ll begin with a comprehensive six‑week paid induction.
You’ll be available to work full time, Monday to Friday, between 7:00am and 5:00pm. This is a temporary role based in Meanjin (Brisbane).

What You'll Do

• Take inbound calls as the first point of contact, lodging and assessing new property claims


• Assess claim information promptly and accurately to ensure smooth progression


• Make confident, informed decisions while balancing customer and business needs


• Maintain accurate documentation and system updates for every claim handled.


• Ensure proactive, timely and high‑quality claim outcomes that balance customer experience with business needs


• Support customers through complex or emotionally heightened situations.


• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, external partners and internal teams.

What You'll Bring

• Strong customer service experience in high‑pressure or regulated environments


• Resilience and confidence in managing emotionally charged conversations


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• High attention to detail with the ability to interpret reports and complex information


• Strong self‑management skills and ability to work independently once remote
