This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.
The successful candidate must have:
· Excellent English skills
· The right to work in Australia
· Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification
· Minimum of 2 years of work experience in relevant roles
· Proficient in the use of Excel
· Strong analytical and numerical skills, possessing a high attention to detail
· High level of accountability with the ability to prioritise and manage reporting deadlines
· “Can do” attitude and willingness to get involved in the detail
· Ability to communicate well with operation team across the business
Responsibilities include:
· Creating financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies
· Reporting – out of Xero for net figures, gross figures, and suppliers and consolidate financial data from different systems
· Conducting financial inquiries, producing reports, performing audits, and offering guidance on different aspects such as business acquisitions and sales, mergers, financing, suspected fraudulent activities, insolvency, and taxation matters
· Analysing operational expenses, income, and spending of organisations
· Provide financial and tax guidance concerning business structures, strategies, and activities
· Balance sheet & bank reconciliation
· Ensuring the accuracy of information in financial reports and compliance with legal obligations
· Preparation of weekly/monthly cash flow forecast
· Processing staff payroll for the venue's employees in accordance with HR requirements and salary analysis reports
· Preparing venues’ year-end financial accounts and income tax returns
· Assist with a variety of other accounting and admin-related tasks as required by the company
· Maintain adherence to Australian Accounting Standards
