Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Corning is seeking a dedicated and energetic Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis in a remote work capacity. As an Associate level professional with at least 3 years of experience in accounting, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks to support our operations in Melbourne, Victoria, AU.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports - Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential financial risks - Assist with budget planning and monitoring - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations - Provide financial guidance to management to support decision-making processes - Contribute to strategic planning efforts to ensure financial stability and growth

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or equivalent certification is preferred - 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles - Strong project management skills - Ability to think strategically and contribute to planning efforts - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
