Job Description

Designing and Developing Automated Test Scripts:

• Design and develop automated test scripts to ensure the system's functionality and performance align with customer expectations.

• Identify relevant tests and validate them through manual testing to ensure accuracy and relevance.

• Incorporate relevant tests into automation scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

• Document manual tests comprehensively to enable others to execute them when necessary.

• Prioritize the capability to execute tests effectively to ensure the system consistently delivers value to customers.

Collaborating with Developers:

• Participate in project-related standups occurring between 9 am and 12 pm to collaborate with developers effectively.

• Work closely with developers to streamline repetitive testing processes and allocate more time for complex testing tasks.

• Facilitate communication and cooperation between testing and development teams to enhance overall project efficiency.

Maintaining the Automated Test Suite:

• Ensure the automated test suite is up to date by regularly updating existing scripts to reflect application changes.

• Keep pace with changes in the application and incorporate them into the automated test suite to maintain its effectiveness.

Building the Test Automation Framework:

• Define, build, and document the test automation framework as needed to support project requirements.

• Assess the strength of existing test automation and identify areas for improvement, particularly in projects where automation is weak.

• Ensure consistent testing practices are implemented across all projects by establishing and maintaining a robust test automation framework.

Analyzing Business Rules and Requirements:

• Analyze business rules and system requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies.

• Understand the intricacies of the system to ensure that tests are effectively designed to cover all relevant scenarios.

Must Haves

• At least 3+ years' experience in creating, maintaining and running automated tests.
• Experience in implementation of automation frameworks for React based applications.
• Experience in integration of automation into CD/CI Pipelines. We use Azure DevOps.
• ISTQB qualification or demonstratable relevant work experience.
• Experience as a member of Agile development teams.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Accounting of Financal applications.
• Experience with Playwright or Cucumber.
• Experience in Security or Performance testing.
• Experience Testing React (SPA) applications with .NET API backends and MS SQL Databases.
