Based in the Blacktown region, this operational site of a large government organisation requires an experienced Finance Manager to drive all reporting, accounting and finance compliance.


Your new role


Working with Senior Management key duties will include:

• Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Leadership and management of a team of professionals coordinating all financial operations
• Financial analysis and recommendations of trends, opportunities, and discrepancies in financial data
• Identify business challenges, develop solutions and recommend sound financial decisions to address financial issues and improve business performance

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in finance management or financial analyst roles working closely with senior management
• A strong financial management accounting background ideally with professional accounting qualifications
• Ability to motivate and lead a dedicated operational team
• Extensive experience developing, interpreting and reporting complex financial information for key decision makers
• Confident with financial software and tools, such as accounting software, Power Bi, and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members, senior management, and external stakeholders
