A Government department is recruiting a Management Accountant to join their experienced team!


Your new role

• Coordinate the timely preparation and validation of budget papers
• Collect, prepare and validate documents
• Contribute to the consolidation, review and finalisation of the departmental annual internal budget
• Assist with production of timely reports
• Undertake financial analysis of performance against budget
• Communicate to internal and external stakeholders
• Apply your extensive knowledge, skills and experience to find solutions to complex accounting and financial issues
• Help support a culture that strives for achievement amongst the team

What you'll need to succeed

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in financial data analysis, activity-based costing and financial modelling
• Project management experience in leading financial projects
• You must have a tertiary qualification in Accounting and hold a membership CPA, ICAA OR IPA.
