Accountant

Global Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria, AU. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and analyzing financial data to ensure the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records - Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial reports - Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement - Prepare and file tax returns - Ensure compliance with financial regulations - Collaborate with other departments to support financial goals - Provide assistance during audits

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - CPA certification is a plus
