Remote Accountant

Job Description:

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a dedicated and resilient Remote Accountant to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria, AU. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks remotely, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, and tax preparation. This position offers a full-time opportunity with vision insurance, a joining bonus, and paid overtime.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Conduct financial analysis and reconciliations - Assist with tax preparation and compliance - Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency - Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Strong research skills and ability to analyze financial data - Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
