[Remote] Trust Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled Trust Accountant to join our team in Australia. As the Trust Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of our trust accounts. This includes overseeing the financial transactions, reconciling discrepancies, and providing reports to stakeholders.

As a Trust Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our trust accounts. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in carrying out your responsibilities effectively. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant who is seeking a challenging role in the finance industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and oversee all trust account activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Reconcile trust account transactions and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all trust accounts.

Manage accounts receivable and payable

Receipting payments from tenants and owners

Bank reconciliation

Processing disbursements

Processing bills or invoices

Prepare and distribute reports on trust account activity to internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure the accuracy and integrity of trust account statements.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for trust accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as Trust Accounting with focus on Australian clients.

Strong knowledge of Australian Trust Account standards and Trust Accounting Principles.

Proficiency in accounting software. (Xero, MYOB, Property ME)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Reliable internet connection and home office setup

Salary Offer: Php25,000.00 - Php36,000.00 per month (Open for higher salary depending on the experience)
