Our client, a boutique Perth based chartered accounting firm with an established reputation, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their high performing team and contribute to their mission of providing honest business, accounting, and taxation service.

About the Role:

This role will be providing end-to-end accounting and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of successful businesses, while working alongside a well-respected and renowned industry leader. Due to the firm's substantial growth, they are looking for a values-driven professional to join the team.

What They're Looking For:

• CPA/CA Qualified with at least 5 years in accounting services and have a solid understanding of accounting and taxation issues.
• Must have experience in public practice and have a strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements in Australia.
• Work Rights, Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status in Australia.
• Familiarity with MYOB

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements for various entities.
• Assisting Directors and Managers in tax planning, research, and providing advice.
• Staying abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in training sessions, actively engage with ideas and knowledge to enrich the team's capabilities.
• Cultivating and contributing to a cooperative, team-focused business environment.
