Senior Advisor, Sector Capability
Clerk Grade: 9/10, base salary starting at $120,859 plus superannuation and leave loading
Employment Type: Temporary until 30th June 2025
Location: Mckell home office, flexible working arrangements available
This role sits within the Customer, Digital and Transformation Division within the NSW Gov Brand & Communications team
About the team
The NSW Government Brand and Communications team is responsible for oversight and effectiveness of customer-centric government communications, including in advertising, engaging diverse audiences and all-of-government brand strategy.
The Sector Capability unit is a strategic function of the Brand and Communications team that supports the professional development and ‘connectedness” of all government communicators across NSW Government. The capability program comprises a number of projects to support capability uplift including providing training and events, and building specialist communities of practice.
The team manage a learning platform available to staff from the entire NSW Government sector and engage staff across a number of channels. The seeks to team foster a learning culture and encourages highly strategic marketing communications and community engagement in NSW Government.
Your day-to-day
You will be a senior member of the team that contributes to the direction of the capability program as well as develop partnerships to deliver learning content and resources.
