Systems accountant

About The Role An exciting immediate start opportunity within a IT Consulting company currently exists in order to fill a key role in the Finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Systems Accountant role will involve supporting in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications. The Responsibilities Reporting directly into an Executive Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and support D365 implementations, from initial setup to post-implementation support, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Provide expert troubleshooting support to resolve system issues and optimize performance, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
• Configure D365 modules to meet specific business needs, leveraging your deep understanding of accounting principles and system functionalities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct system testing, and provide user training and support as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in D365 and other relevant technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
  

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA/CA/CIMA or similarly qualified or working towards
• Several years experience in accounting or finance, with a strong systems track record (Implementations or Systems Accounting) with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP.
• Experience in inventory management is required and will be highly advantageous to your success
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
