Accounts Officer

The Role

• Establish and maintain job records within the project management system.
• Support project planning and the development of work instructions.
• Provide administrative support to management as needed.
• Compile and process monthly credit card transactions and accounts payable.
• Conduct and reconcile end-of-month stocktakes, processing any necessary adjustments.
• Assist in preparing monthly job invoices and other reports for both external and internal stakeholders.
• Review and improve billing processes, cost allocation, stocktaking, quality control, and record keeping.
• Prepare various ad hoc financial reports.

What we're looking for:

• Experience: Previous experience in accounts administration or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB, Xero) and MS Excel.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to recommend and implement improvements to processes and reporting.
