Job Description - Administration Assistant / Insurance Industry

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, experienced administrators to join our building and restoration team.

Our residential building and restoration companies have been specialising in insurance repairs for over 20 years. We comprise of an energetic team of highly skilled individuals, with strong backgrounds in construction, restoration and administration. We currently have opportunities available for both experienced and entry level administrators to join our team.

We are an industry leader in our field, and have built an enviable reputation based on producing quality results for our customers.

The role offered will keep you on your toes, offer plenty of variety, is client focused, working in a professional, yet friendly environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Willingness to advance your skills in office administration, data entry and report typing
  • Professional phone manner
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel and Word
  • A positive and friendly "can do" approach to life and work
  • Be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise
  • Have energy and be willing to learn
  • Drivers license and clean driving record essential
  • Extremely reliable and dependable
  • Be well presented
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • The ability to communicate effectively – both written and verbally
  • Touch typing, punctuation/grammar and formatting skills are also essential
  • Minimum typing speed of 60wpm
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Must have or be willing to obtain National Criminal History Check
  • Most importantly, you must have common sense, show initiative and the right attitude!

Duties you will undertake in this role include:

  • Dealing effectively with trades and clients
  • Assisting the building team to meet KPI’s
  • Data Entry
  • Appointment booking
  • Generating and typing reports
  • Managing job files
  • General office support
