We are looking for an Administration Officer to join the team at our purpose-built Early Childhood service in Surfers Paradise!

About the Role:

As an Administration Officer, you will support all matters relating to the administrative and financial nature of the service, including but not limited to:

  • Providing effective administration support to other team members
  • Performing customer service, telephone, and reception duties
  • Providing accounts support as directed such as lodging invoices
  • Enrolment processes; and ensuring all documentation is completed and allocated
  • Assisting the Centre Manager with occupancy projections and re-enrolment procedures
  • Acting as a resource person for families in relation to fees.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience as an Administration Assistant at an Early Childhood centre
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and customer service skills
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise effectively
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, inclusive, and considerate of others
  • Passion and dedication to building positive relationships with Early Childhood professionals, families, children, and the wider community
  • Working knowledge of CCS, Kidsoft and Childcare CRM software highly desirable
  • An ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates and Child Protection training (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, front-of-house administrative role
  • Open to supporting and working with people combined with an adaptable, bubbly and confident personality
  • Available as soon as possible for part-time work, 3 days a week, Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 3pm (18 hours)
  • Valid Blue Card.
