ARMA Group is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal/Legal Administrator to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the critical portfolios of our Commercial, Insurance, and Consumer Recoveries teams.

This role will be held accountable for some of the Commercial and Legal teams’ fundamental administrative tasks and to succeed in this role, you will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, including emotional intelligence and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Knowledge of debt collection and recovery litigation processes, will also be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Organisation and management the Commercial team’s inbox ensuring prompt and effective responses to all queries
  • Minute taking during meetings
  • Attend to inbound overflow calls
  • Backup for when staff are on leave
  • Conduction of Credit searches
  • Management of all field call requests
  • Collation of Training Manuals
  • Sending batch demand letters
  • Preparation of Management, Revenue and Commercial Reports
  • Maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, and specifically compliance and legal teams to ensure the actions taken within this role are fully compliant with legislative and regulatory expectations
  • Other general duties as required.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of debt collection process and understanding of debt recovery litigation processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and a quick learner of database platforms
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
  • Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
  • Developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence, specifically in displaying respect and empathy.
  • Proactive approach to developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience in an administration role or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience would be very highly regarded.
