Job Description - APS Admin/Customer Service Officer

APS3 Access Officer (Admin & Customer Service)
Rate: $37.36 per hour + super
Contract: 12 & 6 month options + potential for extension
Hours: Full-time. 8:30am - 5pm (Mon - Fri)Location: Charlestown

You will be working with a community-based organisation that provides essential services to many Australians, with a focus on supporting those in need and making a difference for each of their customers. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator or Customer Service Representative to join the team. Your new role
As an Access Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of admin and customer service duties, including:
  • Reviewing and processing documentation, ensuring that information is recorded in accordance with policy and legislation.
  • Responding to phone and email enquiries from customers.
  • Informing prospective customers of their application progress.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, escalating as required.
  • Maintaining records and completing data entry.
  • Scanning and filing documents.
  • Adhoc administration support.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Prior experience in an administration or customer service related role is essential.
  • Good computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and an excellent attitude to customer service.
  • This role requires candidates to be an Australian Citizen.
  • The successful candidate will need to complete 2x reference checks, a Working with Children Check and a Police Check.
