Our client is a privately owned WA-based company established as an earthmoving and road construction contractor to service the heavy industrial, construction, mining and agricultural sectors of industry within Western Australia and Northern Territory. Your new role


The organisation is looking to add to their team of personnel by bringing on board another civil operator to assist them on current projects. As a civil operator, you will be expected to drive water trucks, loaders, and tippers for civil construction projects. These projects will include road construction, gravel re-sheeting, drainage, rock pitching, asphalt and bitumen paving, and traffic management.


The works are based in regional Kimberly, and therefore accommodation will also be on/near site. Accommodation on site will be fully in self-contained construction camps with basic necessities. The camp will also have two fully fitted out kitchens, ablution, toilet and laundry facilities.


This role is on an 11:3 roster whereby you will work on site for 11 days and return to Derby for 3 rest days off. During those 3 days in town, accomodation will also be provided. There will be work on the weekends, both Saturdays and Sundays, and penalties will apply.


Due to project deadlines and client expectations, this role will not be FIFO or DIDO. The client requires someone that can commit to the role and work on the fixed roster until the project is completed. What you'll need to succeed

• MC Driving Licence

• Experience driving a semi-water truck
  
  
• Experience operating a 966M Wheel Loader
  
  
• Experience driving a 6 Wheel Tipper
