About the Role

We are recruiting a Customer Service Officer to work at our Montrose site. The role of the Customer Service Officer is to provide front-line administrative and sales support to the Repurpose It customers both onsite and via phone whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service in every interaction.

This is a full-time, ongoing position with an immediate start available. This is base on-site full-time and hybrid working arrangements are not available for this position.

Duties will likely include (but not be limited to):

  • Act as the first point of contact for all customers who enter the site ensuring that site inductions are provided for customers as required
  • Provide front counter sales including the processing of orders and payments
  • Process sales via phone including taking orders, responding to customer enquiries, finalising sales and liaising with the scheduler and customer
  • Complete general administrative duties including data entry, filing and database management
  • Provide training and support to team members on product knowledge and range where required
  • Assisting the wider team as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a customer service position, ideally within the construction industry, or a similar industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • The ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent time management skills
