About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for an Executive Assistant to support our Group Technology Officer. In supporting this senior leader, you will work within a strong performance orientated culture, providing support in an efficient and proactive manner to ensure business requirements are met and stakeholder relationships are positively impacted. This role will ideally be based in either our Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide offices.

In this Executive Assistant role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivery of work plans.
  • Executing the administrative functions and communications.
  • Designing and carrying out essential data management practices.
  • Developing and communicating insights that guide data driven action and decision making.
  • Supporting the management of vendor/customer selection, contracts, and performance to maximise operational and financial outcomes and mitigate BHP's exposure to risk.
  • Identifying, engaging, and managing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Planning and coordinating a high level of domestic and international travel.

About You

  • You will be an experienced Executive Assistant who has ideally previously supported an ELT member or Senior Executive in a large organisation with a proven ability to work both autonomously and in a small high performing team, and proactively able to establish priorities and meet time critical deadlines.
  • Your strong communication, problem solving, and organisational skills will be an asset, as will your attention to detail and your talent to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • You will be an advocate for leveraging digital technologies to enable collaboration and the simplification of tasks, and possess strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP and SharePoint.
