What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Finance Operations professional to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for our corporate payments - building and maintaining best-in-class functions for accounts payable and payroll. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role holder will work closely with the wider Finance team and have broad exposure to all areas within the business.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
  • Manage and prepare end to end payroll processing (we can teach you payroll if you don't have experience).
  • Oversee employee contract changes, new employee contracts and terminations
  • Manage employee expense claims process
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Assisting with daily cash reconciliations, experience with NetSuite and/or BlackLine would be highly valued but is not essential.
  • Support the Financial Reporting team through external audits
  • Assist with year-end reporting including assisting with the remuneration report

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

  • Experience performing full function accounts payable duties, preferably in the financial services industry but this is not a must have
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using new or proven technologies to improve the way corporate payments are managed (e.g. NetSuite, Concur, Expensify and/or others)
  • An ability to work autonomously in an unstructured environment and be adaptable and versatile across a broad range of initiatives and stakeholders
  • A commitment to excellence, customer service and teamwork and willingness to create and take on opportunities to advance their career in a dynamic and growing business and team
