Job Description - Food & Beverage Manager



Our 5-Star Luxury Beachside Resort is part of the Accor Hotel Group , which hosts over 5,400 properties worldwide. Our Resort boasts 150 luxuriously appointed bungalow style villas,  an award-winning restaurant , wedding and conferencing facilities and a day spa. All located in one of the most beautiful locations in Western Australia. 

Job Description



As the  Food & Beverage Manager,  you will manage the day to day operations which include the resort restaurant, villa catering, lounge bar, conferencing & events and a pool bar. We are looking for someone who will represent our friendly and professional 5 star service philosophy. This role is reporting into the Director of Operations.

You are a naturally confident person who is able to lead and inspire a large team of colleagues. Passionate for all things food & beverage, you will create luxe experiences for our guests through inspiring the team to create peak moments each and every day. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Demonstrate a consistent approach to customer service in each and every interaction with our guests, suppliers, team members and local community.
  • Coach the department supervisors so that their personal development is allowing them to perform at their best.
  • Ensuring department training to maintain a 5 star service standard.
  • Conduct reviews of current products and service to enhance the resort offerings.
  • Financial management of the food & beverage profit and loss to ensure month by month budgeted gross operation is achieved.
  • Complete administrational duties which includes but not limited to; month end reporting, rostering, ordering, budget preparation, forecasting and menu engineering.
  • Ensure compliance within all Accor Internal Control Audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Australian working rights.
  • Experience in managing P&L’s including budgeting, forecasting, payroll planning and cost control.
  • Previous experience in a Resort and/or a Luxury property within a similar role will be highly regarded.
  • A passion for people and a strong desire to develop your team to the best of their abilities. 
  • Consistently demonstrate the ability to provide luxe service behaviours.
