Job Description - Front of House & Administration Support

Lead the Front of House and administration needs for a fast growing, premium brand based in Hobart! Harrison Agents Hobart are seeking an entry level professional to manage our Front of House & provide administrative support to our team and the Director of Tasmanian Finance. This diverse role encompasses general office and reception duties such as welcoming clients and customers to our office in the heart of Salamanca, managing incoming communications in addition to being responsible for delivering exceptional property marketing and administration support to the Director of Tasmanian Finance and our high performing sales and property management teams.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, be professionally presented, authentic in nature and have the ability to perform a varied, task-based schedule. Showing initiative is critical and having an enthusiasm to learn digital ways of working is a must! This position is suited to an entry level professional eager to enter the Real Estate industry with ample room for growth within the business.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Basic reception duties (managing incoming and outgoing communications)
  • Manage office phone system
  • Manage company email
  • Liaise with clients and external stakeholders
  • Work alongside the sales and property management teams to provide administrative and in office support
  • Assist Head of Group marketing with social media management/support
  • Manage the Director of Tasmanian Finance’s calendar
  • Prepare and organise client files
  • AdHoc administration and EA tasks

The successful candidate will need:

  • Highly developed organisational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computing skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and develop key relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and seek creative ways to solve problems and address difficulties.
  • Understanding &l proficiency in the use of social media for marketing purposes
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides & Gmail) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
