General Farm Hand

Position available near Bremer Bay. We are a progressive family business encompassing a commercial cattle herd and cropping operations, looking for a motivated person to join our team. The primary tasks will be based around preparing feed rations and working with cattle. This can be physical work and it requires enthusiasm, attention to detail and good time management. Additional work may be available for the right person. The successful applicant will have experience with livestock, machinery operation and basic mathematical ability. Some mechanical knowledge and computer literacy would be advantageous. We are looking for prospective team-members with:

• Take pride in their work Accommodation is provided. You will need your own vehicle to get to and from the farm. This work counts towards your 88 days. The business owners have strong environmental values and aim to manage the properties in an ecologically sustainable manner. There is an ongoing revegetation program, along with management guidelines that aim to minimise the negative impact on our immediate environment. The right candidate will need to demonstrate similar values.
