About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career and obtain valuable experience working as a Legal Support Officer in Victoria Police's Legal Services Department (LSD).
Victoria Police's LSD provides legal services and advice to support policing, courts and the Victorian Community. Positioned within the Specialist Legal and Litigation Division, the Counter Terrorism Legal Unit (CTLU) is a specialised team of legally qualified sworn and VPS members who provide professional and timely legal services to Counter Terrorism Command. The CTLU's main functions include providing expert legal advice on a broad range of matters, facilitating training with stakeholders, legal policy and legislative reform, and delivering operational legal support to investigators. As the successful applicant, you will undertake a wide range of administrative and paralegal duties in support of these functions.
