About the role

We are seeking a Network Administrator with minimum NV1 security clearance to be responsible for managing and maintaining network elements to ensure the smooth operation of our client's systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, monitoring, auditing, and remediation of network policies and compliance. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and security of our client's network infrastructure.

This role is based on-site in Adelaide and can be taken as a Contract or Permanent opportunity.

About you

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Develop and operate network elements of gateway systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage, monitor, audit, and remediate network policies and compliance configurations.
• Provide assistance to improve and enhance the support and management of gateway monitoring systems.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement solutions to resolve them promptly.
• Implement, configure, and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment.
• Lead change activities related to the configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum NV1 clearance, ideally NV2 or PV
• A background in Defence or Federal Government is highly desirable
• Proficiency in network administration and configuration.
• Experience with managing switches, routers, and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and auditing tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.
• Understanding of network policies and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with security protocols and best practices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
