We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to lead B&D manufacturing across VIC, based at our B&D site in Kilsyth. You’ll be engaging, mentoring and empowering your team to work cohesively and will ensure they achieve results by giving them a clear vision of business objectives. Responsibilities

• Focusing and inspiring your team on how we can deliver ongoing benefit to the B&D business
• Supporting team activities to improve output, quality and safety performance
• Monitoring and improving performance by providing structure, direction and KPI's on relevant measures
• Managing operational costs and budgets to ensure value and benefit to the business
• Initiating, designing and implementing initiatives that step-change the performance of the NSW business
• Driving a Continuous Improvement agenda using LEAN principles
  

Skills & Experience

• Collaborative leadership experience within engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain
• Experience with Industrial Relations and negotiating EA’s
• Solid experience in safety and quality
• Experience driving Continuous Improvement projects following LEAN principles
• Experience with financial reporting and managing budgets including cost savings
