Piping Designer – Perth, WA Our client is in search of a Piping Designer from Intermediate to Senior level to work closely with their high performing team in delivering various projects across the mineral processing sector. This role will be based at their facilities in Perth, WA and offered on a 6-month initial contract with the likelihood to extend past 12 months. Key Responsibilities
- Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures.
- Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings.
- Deliver and contribute to practical solutions.
- Ensure project time and cost are met - monitor effectiveness of designs, scheduling of work, resource requirements and review compliance with project execution plan (schedule) and client expectations.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members.
- Demonstrate high standard of personal safety and safe design practices.
About You - Relevant tertiary qualification – beneficial not essential.
- Ideally, 5+ years' of design experience in minerals processing or mining with strong knowledge of Gold and Rare Earths.
- Well-developed communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MicroStation Design Software – Highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety.
