About the Role

The Melbourne Recruitment Team is focused on growth to continue to support our clients with their workforce needs and we want committed, passionate people to help us realise our vision. This is an opportunity to be part of accelerating the growth of our commercial Recruitment Team in Victoria. You will be a skilled sales and recruitment professional that connects talent to the opportunities and needs of valued clients. Using diligent and frequent relationship building techniques, your ability to understand the needs and requirements of people will ensure you continuously grow and evolve your portfolio of clients and continuously achieve your revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate research, pooling and building talent communities within key recruitment verticals to support your client portfolio
  • Create and convert new client opportunities by anticipating, identifying and meeting complex needs
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection for clients within your portfolio
  • Consistently meet performance benchmarks in support of the team business plan as well as service and compliance standards
  • Actively support the team in client and candidate management activities including attending meetings, providing market intelligence and advice
  • Provide career and recruitment advice to candidates and clients which are professional, useful, ethical and memorable, creating a lasting impression of Davidson.
  • Develop, maintain and practice knowledge of the Davidson hiring methodology.
  • Consistently meet set KPIs to drive your own Business development activity as well as service and compliance standards.
  • Identify and suggest innovative and cost-efficient candidate attraction and care opportunities.
  • Act with integrity and with a genuine care for others. Is authentic and honest, with a willingness to express views with courage and compassion. Values diversity, ethics and fosters a safe working environment for all.
  • Maintain a positive and balanced outlook with a focus on resilience and wellbeing within a Sales environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We want to speak with passionate and talented recruitment professionals who have a proven track record of securing new business, growing existing relationships and the motivation to get the best results for our clients.

  • Previous experience in providing exceptional customer service/sales and administration in the recruitment sector.
  • Exposure to a commercial business with an understanding of how to drive and implement sales targets
  • A degree in business or HR is highly regarded
  • IT savvy - knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A can-do attitude and hunger for learning
  • Self-starter and keen eye for detail
  • Resilience and problem-solving skills
