Project Manager

• Large digital transformation program – Salesforce based!

A leading government agency based in Canberra, 2601 is seeking a Project Manager to support the successful application and extension of transformative digital services across the agency.

The agency is undertaking a whole of government digital transformation program of its service delivery using Salesforce as the main delivery platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create and maintain project plans and schedules, to align with and achieve the outcomes required by the program
• Create and maintain project plans on a page to enable discussions and engage with senior leaders
• Plan, schedule and report on project deliverables in accordance with the overall program.
• Work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary project teams, utilising a combination of internal and external staff and contractor resources to achieve required outcomes.
• Proactively plan and manage resource allocation and budget constraints and manage project conflicts.
• Manage and refine benefits realisation planning and reporting

Key requirements include:

• Experience in managing complex projects with significant ICT components.
• Experience in leading high performing multi-disciplinary project teams delivering according to an end-to-end design thinking methodology, and operating in a hybrid agile/waterfall framework. 
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Focus on project outcomes and a clear record of delivery of these.
• Expertise in risk and issue management at the project level.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high performing team.
• Relevant qualifications, and an understanding of the policy and technical 
• Hands on experience working with Salesforce platform
