Senior Network Engineer

Summary:

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable network solutions across multiple locations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly available network solutions across multiple locations
• Develop and implement network protocols, policies, and procedures
• Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
• Oversee the implementation of network solutions to ensure successful implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance and security
• Develop documentation, including network diagrams, technical specifications, and operating procedures
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering and administration
• Experience in designing and implementing highly available, scalable network solutions
• Proven experience in network troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Strong understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper networking technologies; certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIS, JNCIP are highly desirable.
• Experience in network security and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
