Job Description

• Assist current Training Resources Developer with:
VET Framework Understanding:

• In-depth knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in Australia, including the AQF and ASQA standards.

• Understanding of the structure and components of nationally accredited qualifications, ranging from Certificate II to Diploma levels.

Curriculum Development:

• Expertise in designing curriculum frameworks for each qualification level, considering progressive learning pathways and skill development.

• Ability to align learning outcomes with the relevant AQF levels and industry standards.

PowerPoint Presentation Skills:

• Proficiency in creating visually engaging and informative PowerPoint presentations that complement the course content.

• Integration of multimedia elements, graphics, and interactive features to enhance the learning experience.

Learner and Trainer Guide Workbooks:

• Development of learner guides that provide clear, structured content aligned with the PowerPoint presentations.

• Creation of trainer guides with additional insights, tips, and suggested delivery strategies to aid instructors.

Assessment Design:

• Skill in crafting a variety of assessments, such as practical demonstrations, case studies, written exams, and workplace projects.

• Ensuring assessments align with the training package requirements and industry standards.

Lesson Planning:

• Creation of detailed lesson plans that outline the sequence of activities, timeframes, and resources required for effective delivery.

• Integration of formative and summative assessments into lesson plans.

Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS):

• Development of comprehensive TAS documents that outline the overall strategy for training and assessment.

• Inclusion of assessment methods, resources, and evidence requirements to meet compliance standards.

Compliance Documentation:

• Ensuring all course materials adhere to ASQA compliance standards and regulations.

• Creation of documents such as RTO policies, procedures, and quality assurance processes.

Progressive Learning Pathways:

• Designing course materials that facilitate a seamless progression from Certificate II to Diploma levels.

• Integration of competency-based learning and recognition of prior learning (RPL) principles.

Industry Engagement:

• Collaboration with industry experts and stakeholders to ensure course content remains current and relevant to industry needs.

• Incorporation of real-world examples and case studies to enhance practical application.

Quality Assurance:

• Implementation of quality assurance processes to continuously review and improve course materials based on feedback, industry changes, and assessment outcomes.
