Job Description - Business development manager / coordinator

The role

CCI is currently seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager / Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will report directly to our Vice President of Business Development and collaborate closely with our Regional Directors. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the business development processes from start to finish, you will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities within the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing all CCi proposal / tenders working closely with the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to expand CCi’s footprint in diverse markets across the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Oversee the end-to-end bid process, from identifying potential opportunities to proposal submission.
  • Attend industry networking events.
  • Lead bi-weekly business development meetings with Regional Directors to drive business development.
  • Work closely with the APAC marketing team to standardise CCI proposals / tenders and create business development marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare monthly business development reports for our wider business, Rimkus.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand client’s needs, industry trends and strategies.
  • Track new / existing opportunities using CRM software Apptivo and produce weekly updates to the senior management team.

Our Requirements:

  • Experience working within the construction / engineering industry (preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a BD Coordinator, BD Manger or BID Manger role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail and commitment to delivering work at a high standard.
  • Proficient user of graphic design packages such as InDesign, and CRM sales software’s.
  • Excellent written skills, attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or related field (not mandatory)
