In this role, you’ll

• You will safely carry out the trade activities and other duties relevant to maintaining bridges and drain structures.

• You will be based in the local area of Goulburn or surrounds.

About you

We’re seeking a trade qualified carpenter with excellent communication skills and enjoy working towards delivering results in a team environment. You hold one of the following trades:

• Carpenter and Joiner

• Construction Carpenter

• Bridge and Wharf Carpenter

• Civil Engineering Construction Carpenter

• Or equivalent and can work at heights or in confined spaces.

  
  

You can identify and report safety and environmental hazards in the workplace and rectify those without direction and report accordingly. You will also have the capability to achieve quality standards and follow established quality procedures within the scope of training provided in the role.

Finally, you hold a White Card, a current driver’s licence, and are able to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, travel across the region and stay away from home when needed.

Whilst not essential, a MR Truck license and Traffic Control tickets are favourable.

Applicants must be based within 30 minutes of the depot in Goulburn or willing to relocate.
